Generation Issues

My generation failed or got stuck

Possible causes and solutions:

  • Content moderation rejection: Your prompt may have triggered our content safety filters. Try rephrasing your prompt to avoid potentially problematic content. See our Acceptable Use Policy.
  • Image upload issues: If uploading an image, make sure it is under 10MB and in PNG, JPG, or WEBP format.
  • Network timeout: Refresh the page and try again. Your credits will not be deducted if generation fails.
  • Server busy: During peak times, generation may take longer. Please be patient - progress updates will show in real-time.

Generation is taking too long

Generation typically takes 30-60 seconds. If it is taking longer:

  • Keep the page open and wait - do not refresh or navigate away
  • Watch the progress indicator - it will show which stage the generation is in
  • If stuck for more than 5 minutes, refresh the page and check My Creations to see if it completed
  • If the page never appears in your gallery, your credit was not deducted - try again

The result does not match my prompt

Tips for better results:

  • Be more specific: Instead of "dog", try "friendly golden retriever puppy sitting in grass"
  • Use descriptive words: Add adjectives like "cute", "detailed", "simple", "intricate"
  • Specify what you do NOT want: AI sometimes needs guidance on what to avoid
  • Try different difficulty levels: Same prompt at different difficulties produces different styles
  • Use the idea button: Click "Get an Idea" for AI-generated prompt suggestions

My image upload is not converting well

Image upload tips:

  • Use clear, high-contrast images for best results
  • Simple subjects convert better than complex scenes
  • Photos with clear subjects work better than busy backgrounds
  • Try adjusting the difficulty level - sometimes a different setting works better

Credit and Account Issues

I purchased credits but they are not showing

  • Refresh the page - your balance should update automatically
  • Check your email for a purchase confirmation
  • Wait a few minutes - processing can take 1-2 minutes
  • If still not showing after 10 minutes, contact us at [email protected] with your order confirmation

I was charged credits but did not get my coloring page

  • Check My Creations - the page may have saved even if you navigated away
  • Credits are only deducted for successful generations - failed generations do not cost credits
  • If you see a deduction but no page in your gallery, contact support with the timestamp

I cannot access the Bulk Generator

The Bulk Generator requires a commercial account. To upgrade:

  1. Purchase a commercial credit package
  2. Your account will automatically upgrade to commercial status
  3. You will gain access to Bulk Generator and commercial usage rights for all generations

Download and File Issues

My download is not working

  • Try a different format (PNG, JPG, or PDF)
  • Check your browser download settings and popup blockers
  • Try a different browser
  • Clear your browser cache and try again

The PDF quality looks poor when printed

  • Make sure you are downloading the PDF version (not PNG or JPG)
  • Check your printer settings - use "Best" or "High Quality" print mode
  • Ensure "Fit to page" is NOT selected - use "Actual size"
  • For commercial printing, provide the PDF directly to your printer

Colors look different when I open the file

ColorGenPro generates black and white line art for coloring. If you see colors:

  • You may be viewing an edited version - check if you used the editor
  • Make sure you are downloading the original, not a thumbnail preview
  • Try downloading in PDF format for the cleanest output

Book Creation Issues

I cannot create a book

Requirements for book creation:

  • At least 2 coloring pages with the same tag
  • Maximum 50 pages per book
  • Tagged pages must be completed (not failed or processing)

If you meet these requirements and still cannot create a book, try:

  • Refreshing the page
  • Verifying that pages have the correct tag in My Creations
  • Contacting support if the issue persists

My book is stuck on "Processing"

  • Book creation typically takes 30-90 seconds
  • Larger books (30-50 pages) take longer
  • If processing for more than 5 minutes, refresh the page
  • Check your My Books library - it may have completed

Gallery and Organization Issues

I cannot find my coloring page

  • Use the search box to search by prompt text
  • Check your sort settings - try "Newest first"
  • Clear any active tag filters
  • Make sure the page completed successfully - check for error messages

Tags are not working

  • Tags are case-sensitive - "Animals" and "animals" are different tags
  • Check for extra spaces before or after tag names
  • After adding a tag, refresh the page to see it in the filter list
  • Tags must be added to completed pages (not processing or failed)

Bulk selection is not working

  • Click the "Select" button first to enter selection mode
  • Check the boxes on individual items
  • Use "Select all on page" to select all visible items
  • Click "Delete Selected" when ready

Browser and Technical Issues

The page is not loading or looks broken

  • Hard refresh your browser: Ctrl+F5 (Windows) or Cmd+Shift+R (Mac)
  • Clear your browser cache and cookies
  • Try a different browser (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge)
  • Disable browser extensions temporarily to test
  • Check your internet connection

I am getting error messages

If you see an error message:

  • Take a screenshot of the full error
  • Note what you were doing when it occurred
  • Try refreshing the page
  • Contact [email protected] with the screenshot and details
