How to Generate Coloring Pages

ColorGenPro can create coloring pages from written descriptions or uploaded images. Each successful generation costs 1 credit and is saved to your account.

Getting to the Generator

Open Create from the app navigation. Spark, Canvas, and Masterpiece subscribers can generate single pages.

Text Mode

Describe the coloring page you want. Clear, specific prompts usually work best.

  1. Type your prompt.
  2. Use the idea button if you want inspiration.
  3. Choose difficulty and aspect ratio.
  4. Click Generate Coloring Page.

Example prompts:

  • A cute unicorn with flowers in a magical forest.
  • A friendly robot helping children build a sandcastle.
  • A detailed mandala with stars, leaves, and geometric patterns.
  • An ocean scene with dolphins, fish, coral, and bubbles.

Image Mode

Upload an image when you want ColorGenPro to turn a reference photo, sketch, or artwork into a coloring page.

  1. Switch to Image mode.
  2. Upload a PNG, JPG, or WEBP image under the current size limit shown in the app.
  3. Choose difficulty and aspect ratio.
  4. Generate the coloring page.

Difficulty

  • Easy: Simple lines and larger open spaces for younger kids or markers.
  • Medium: Balanced detail for most coloring pages.
  • Hard: More intricate detail for advanced colorists or detailed printables.

Credits

Each successful page costs 1 credit. Monthly subscription credits are used first. If you run out, active subscribers can buy permanent top-up credits.

After Generation

  • Download: Save PNG, JPG, or PDF files.
  • Edit: Use the built-in editor for small adjustments.
  • Tag: Organize pages for search and book creation.
  • Book: Combine tagged pages into a PDF coloring book.

Bulk Generation

If you need a whole set, Canvas and Masterpiece include Bulk Generator access for creating up to 50 pages at once. Spark users can create pages one at a time.

Usage Rights

  • Spark and Canvas: Personal and non-commercial use.
  • Masterpiece: Commercial usage rights for generated pages, subject to the Terms of Service.

Top-up credits add more credits but do not change usage rights by themselves.

Tips for Better Results

  • Use specific subjects, settings, and style words.
  • Keep prompts family-friendly and policy-compliant.
  • Try a different difficulty if the result is too simple or too detailed.
  • Use clear, high-contrast images for image uploads.
  • Tag good pages right away so you can find them later.
