Creating Coloring Books
Turn your tagged coloring pages into professional PDF coloring books with custom covers. Books are free to create and perfect for printing, sharing, or selling (with a commercial account).
Accessing My Books
Go to My Books or click "My Books" in the navigation menu.
Requirements
Before creating a book, you need:
- At least 2 coloring pages with the same tag
- Tagged creations - Pages must be organized with tags
- Maximum 50 pages per book

Creating Your First Book
Step 1: Select a Tag
- Go to My Books
- Click "Create New Book"
- Choose a tag from the dropdown menu
- Only tags with 2 or more pages will appear
- The number of pages for each tag is shown
Step 2: Add Book Information
- Book Title (required) - Enter a title up to 100 characters
- Example: "Ocean Adventures Coloring Book"
- This appears on the cover and in your library
- Book Subtitle (optional) - Add a subtitle up to 100 characters
- Example: "Explore the Wonders of the Sea"
- Appears below the title on the cover
Step 3: Choose Your Cover
- Select which coloring page should appear on the cover
- Dropdown shows all pages from your selected tag
- Live preview updates as you change your selection
- Choose your most eye-catching or representative design
Step 4: Create the Book
- Review your selections
- Click "Create Book"
- Watch the progress indicator
- Book typically processes in 30-60 seconds
Your Book Library
All your created books appear in the My Books library:
- Cover preview - See your custom cover design
- Book title and subtitle
- Page count - Total number of pages
- Tag - Which tag the book was created from
- Status - Processing or Completed
- Download button - Get your PDF when complete
- Delete button - Remove books you no longer need
Downloading Your Book
Once your book is complete:
- Click the "Download PDF" button on your book
- PDF downloads immediately to your device
- File is named with your book title
- Ready to print, share, or sell (commercial accounts only)
Book Format
Your PDF book includes:
- Professional cover page with your chosen image, title, and subtitle
- All pages from your tag in order of creation
- Print-ready quality suitable for home or professional printing
- Simple, clean formatting throughout the book
Note: If you have edited any pages, the book uses the edited versions automatically.
For Amazon KDP and Commercial Publishing: ColorGenPro books use simple formatting focused on the coloring pages themselves. If you plan to publish on Amazon KDP, Etsy, or other platforms, you may want to add additional formatting such as copyright pages, ISBN information, publisher details, table of contents, or introduction pages. These can be added using PDF editing software before uploading to your publishing platform.

- Ideal page count: 20-30 pages makes a substantial but not overwhelming book

Updating Books
To update a book with new pages:
- Add more pages to your existing tag
- Delete the old book from your library
- Create a new book with the same tag
- The new book will include all pages with that tag
Common Questions
Q: Is there a cost to create books?
A: No! Creating books is completely free. You only pay credits for generating the individual pages.
Q: Can I choose which pages from a tag to include?
A: Books include ALL pages with the selected tag. Remove pages from the tag (or delete them) if you do not want them in the book.
Q: Can I reorder pages in the book?
A: Pages appear in order of creation date. To control order, generate or tag pages in your preferred sequence.
Q: What if I have more than 50 pages with one tag?
A: Books are limited to 50 pages. Consider splitting into multiple tags/books or removing some pages.
Q: Can I sell the PDF books I create?
A: Commercial use (including selling) requires a commercial account. Upgrade by purchasing commercial credits. Personal accounts can only use books for personal, non-commercial purposes. See our Terms of Service for details.
Q: Are these books ready for Amazon KDP?
A: The books are print-ready PDFs with your coloring pages and a custom cover. For Amazon KDP or other commercial publishing platforms, you may want to add additional elements like copyright pages, ISBN information, table of contents, or introduction pages using PDF editing software before uploading.
Q: Can I add more pages to the book, like an introduction or instructions?
A: ColorGenPro books contain only your generated coloring pages and a cover. To add additional content (introduction, copyright, instructions, etc.), use PDF editing software to combine your ColorGenPro book with additional pages.
